This is another of my favorite holes. It has another "lone tree" and a green that it just incredible. More on that below.

The Tee

You really need to have some strategy on this hole. The fairway is flat up until about 240 yards off the tee. It then slopes down and to the right to another flat area closer to the green. It is vital that you be on one of the two flat areas in order to have a good shot at the green. If you are on the downslope you will have a downhill/push lie to a green that requires a high shot to the left. Despite its relatively short length it is not possible to drive this green.

The Green

Ok, follow me on this one because it is a little bit difficult to describe. The green is a combination of a kidney and hourglass design. There are really only two possible pin locations: front and back. If you are on the wrong end of the green you have a near impossible two-putt. If you look at the larger picture you can see that the narrow edges of the hourglass are elevated (about 5 feet or so). The other portions of the green are pretty flat so if you can get on the right part of the green you are in good shape. The ball on the right side of the green in the picture will break about 7 feet or so and needs just a slight tap to get it to the hole.
